SkyWalk Heart of Poronin

SkyWalk Serce Poronina - Ścieżka w chmurach - widok na Tatry

All eyes are on the Podhale region, where the Sky Walk Heart of Poronin has been built – a spectacular new tourist attraction and the largest glass observation deck in Europe. Located in the heart of the Tatra Mountains, this state-of-the-art structure guarantees unforgettable views and emotions never before seen in this part of Poland.

Sky Walk Heart of Poronin is not only an engineering masterpiece, but also a symbol of courage, nature and mountain adventure, whose mascot has become a bear – the proud host of this unique place. Already the Poronin municipality is becoming one of the most anticipated points on the tourist map of Poland and Europe.

Construction of the Sky Walk Heart of Poronin – one of the most anticipated tourist attractions in Poland – began in November 2023. The investment is being carried out with great precision and panache, and each stage is being followed with interest by locals and tourists.

Sky Walk Heart of Poronin is a project that combines modern engineering with the landscape of the Tatra Mountains.

In March 2025, a key construction stage began – the installation of the main structure of the observation deck, which will be one of the highest and longest glass observation decks in Europe. The platform rises above the surrounding area and will provide a panoramic view of the Tatra Mountains and the Poronin valley. The entire structure is based on modern materials: steel supports and pressure-resistant glass. The project assumes not only visual impact, but also full integration with the landscape – the structure is to be optically “light” and almost invisible from a further perspective.

The path and additional attractions.

The tour of Sky Walk Poronin will start at 1075 meters above sea level. At a leisurely pace, we will reach the lower terrace – where we will also find the first glass balcony. After a short rest, we can continue our journey! Here’s where things start to get interesting, as visitors from this point on will be able to opt for 2 ways to reach the top. A gentle and wide walkway has been prepared for those who visit the Sky Walk to enjoy communing with nature. Visitors desiring an adrenaline rush will have a number of shortcuts, i.e. walks on special grids that can also be climbed.

At the very top, visitors will find what they are probably all waiting for the most. Another, much larger glass terraces and a 360-degree view of the Tatra Mountains panorama! There are 2 solutions for those finishing the tour. Visitors will be able to return the same way or use the slide. This time the constructors decided to have 2 slides located next to each other – so guests will be able to arrange races.

The path has a maximum slope of 6` and about 2.5 meters wide. This allows free movement not only for individual guests, but also for families with children in strollers or people with disabilities.
